Terms of Service
Last updated: May 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using RecoverPayout ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users of the platform.
2. Description of Service
RecoverPayout is a US TikTok Shop reimbursement detection and recovery-tracking platform. We reconcile your orders and settlement data, surface discrepancies, and provide evidence packs to help you file claims in TikTok Seller Center (US) or U-PIC. We do not file claims on your behalf. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Service at any time.
3. User Accounts
To use the Service, you must create an account using Google OAuth. You are responsible for:
- Providing accurate and complete information
- Maintaining the security of your account credentials
- Promptly notifying us of any unauthorized access
- Not creating multiple accounts for abusive purposes
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You may not:
- Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
- Abuse, harass, or harm others through the platform
- Attempt to reverse engineer or circumvent security controls
- Submit false or fraudulent recovery claims through the platform
- Impersonate others or provide false information
5. Content and Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of shop data and files you submit to the Service. By submitting data, you grant us a license to process it to provide reconciliation, claims detection, and evidence packs. The platform design, logos, reconciliation rules, and software are owned by RecoverPayout and protected by intellectual property laws.
6. Automated Analysis and No Guarantee of Recovery
The Service uses automated reconciliation rules to flag potential reimbursements. Detected amounts are estimates based on ingested data and TikTok policy rules. We do not guarantee that TikTok will approve any claim or that any specific amount will be recovered. You are solely responsible for filing claims in TikTok and for the accuracy of submissions you make there.
7. Billing and Payments
RecoverPayout uses contingency billing on verified recoveries:
- A percentage fee applies only to amounts you mark as recovered or that we auto-verify from settlement data
- Fees are invoiced through Stripe when configured on your account
- You may stop using the Service at any time; outstanding invoiced fees remain payable
- Refunds are provided at our discretion for technical issues or service unavailability
8. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account for violations of these terms, fraudulent activity, or behavior that harms the Service or other users. Upon termination, your right to use the Service immediately ceases, though certain provisions of these terms will survive.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. Recovery outcomes depend on TikTok's policies and your own filing actions.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RecoverPayout shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or through the platform. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where RecoverPayout is established, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of that jurisdiction.
13. Contact Information
For questions about these Terms of Service, please contact us through the platform or at the contact information provided in your account settings.
